Began as H5N1 influenza in birds and mammals, which then mutated into one that could cross the species barrier and infect humans. Thats why. And more to the point Veterinarians traning could just as well as doctors. And I found this video on Bout to be useful and informative.

The antibiotics do nothing for viruses. Only medicines like anti-viral drugs against the AIDS virus vaccinations and danger. The H5N1 virus has been around since the 50s and is unlikely to mutate. Remember SARs and the West Nile virus. Ya they didn’t come from nothing and make people panic. Some are dead for sure, but do not forget the flu virus normally kills about 40 000 people per year in ourselves. You do not hear about that. Worldwide since its launch, the H5N1 virus has killed about 1,000 people.
